March is a great time to visit Savannah.  The  warmer weather and the azaleas are just starting to bloom.  

St. Patrick's Day will fall on a Friday  so this year will see approximately 300,000 to 400,000 people coming to Savannah to see the best St. Patrick's Day parade.  Our parade is 3 1/2 hours long and winds throughout the historic district so your hotel or vacation rental may very well be on the parade.

The Savannah Music Festival will be March 23 through April 8.   The Christ Anglican Church sponsors the Tour of Homes.
